Family Fun for Fall!

Among the many activities in Anchorage, Matsu’s Fall Harvest Festival is epic! The event takes place at Pyrah's Pioneer Peak Farm, Alaska’s biggest U-pick destination. This year’s event will be September 23rd. Come for hayrides, games & prizes, contests, a petting zoo, live entertainment, a fire pit and of course, food!

The Kids Halloween Train runs Oct 21st and 28th in the morning and afternoon. Passengers are invited to wear costumes and enjoy entertainment and activities such as a raffle and coloring contest.

Anchorage Concert Association is going all out with their production of the classic Cinderella! The show will take place October 24th – 29th at the Atwood Concert Hall.

The Reindeer Farm is an classic Anchorage point of interest. It was started in the 80’s by Tom and Gene Williams and is still in their family. These reindeer are the same beautiful creatures that appear in the Running of the Reindeer at the Fur Rondy! Come to the Fall Festival October 14, 21 & 28 for your chance for a Reindeer Tour and more:

Oktoberfest (21+)

Need a break from the kids? Hire a sitter and head out to Girdwood to celebrate Oktoberfest the last two weekends of September. Enjoy live music, merrymaking, dancing and sample Bavarian delicacies such as Schnitzel, Spaetzle & Sauerkraut. Entry to the festival is free.
