Anchorage’s Midtown Gem is located close to the Loussac Library, BP and the U-Med District which consists of The University of Alaska Anchorage, Alaska Pacific University, Providence Medical Center and Alaska Native Hospital. Joint Base Elmendorf – Richardson and Downtown are within minutes of this established neighborhood. This centrally located community houses Roger’s Park Elementary which offers the Highly Gifted Program. Other schools include Wendler Middle School and East High School.
